Aquamid and FDA

Ask Dr. Rivkin questions on all non-surgical cosmetic procedures, laser treatments, and injection fillers, including Botox, Juvederm, Restylane, Radiesss, Sculptra, IPL, Fraxel, Thermage, Mesotherapy, Non-surgical nose job, chin/cheek augmentation, and many other procedures.

Hi Dr Rivkin,

Any word on when the aquamid will be approved by the FDA? also whats the pricing gonna be for this procedure for the nose. Thank you.

its going to be a year at least, unfortunately
the fda moves slowly.
pricing will be less than $2000

so would you opt to just get artefill ? or wait a year for the aquamid? thanks~

well, i think artefill is an ok filler to use - you just have to understand that you will be back for several visits. the results are quite good, though.
i would go ahead now with artefill, since you never know with the fda.
