Hello, I am new to this board. I just had lower blepharoplasty 3 days ago. I understand that it can be a long healing process. But, I am alreday freaking out about one thing - my lower eyelids are being pulled, they look like they are pulled down, giving me this zombie, rackoon kind of look. Please, is this normal? Will this go away? Thank you!
I posted pictures in my profile. Please, I hope someone can give me advise
My eyes looked crazy as in the first few days....... when they were recovering,,, one had swollen more than the other... etc. I had read a lot before my bleph, thus the inconstancies while recovery didnt scare me... more so cause I knew I had chosen a top doctor..... the doc I went with - Dr Nettle... he only does faces... thus had full faith in his expertise.... So yeah if your docs great! Dont worry the weird recovery stages you'll go through....
tried to view the pic u mentioned... cant see any... Also check with your PS as to - if and when you can or are supposed to do any sort of eye exercise. I 'think' it would be end of 1st week or maybe 2nd... I dont precisely remember.

Ok thank you! I posted pics in my album, is it not visible? I am so scared. I just dont understand why my lower lids are so pulled down
Just saw the pics.... I aint a Doc but can bet that its the swelling thats pulling it down.... once the swelling goes it will be just fine I reckon.
For eg... right now with my Facelift my cheeks are so swollen that its actually pulling my left eye down a bit on the outer corner... I aint worried as I know once the swelling goes it will go back to normal.
So yeah, my advise is.... it's too early to stress... and the initial healing stage is inconsistent with swelling, shape, size etc.
