nice to know we are having the same symptoms..takes a long time to heal..much more than i thought.

Nice to see we have a dr posting..thank you. I am sure there are all kinds of complications in an arm lift! Im in complete trust of my dr in mexico who is also a member of ISAPS he did my surgery 3/14 and I have pics posted pw is pantoja so I'm very confident. Free only 2000..wow.. I thought I was getting a deal! Well keep in touch and if it works out for you financially it would be nice to do it together. I need to pm you my phone number. Did Cardenas say how long we would have to stay before going home? I was thinking just a few days five at the most what do you think?

Oh about the implants. I love them and wouldnt get a bl without it..feels so much sexier and fuller..I highly recommend it. Oh i updated my pics too yesterday. Take Care!

Haha we are chasing each others posts. I talked to Dr Cardenas about the issue the other dr pointed out. She said the only way it would pull and hurt with arm lifting if dr took too much skin. If done correctly it would not happen. She is very confident in her technique. She also said that she prefers mini arm lift and groin incision for thigh lift as it leaves less visible scars. And, I am so happy with all the lipo, my boobs even look better. Now they are my last priority.

I am 10 weeks out from a modified arm lift T shaped. In the armpit and down about 4 inches. I am going to tell you my experience.

The first week or so was a breeze around week two the pain started. It would feel like I was getting charlie horses and would swell alot and be warm to the touch. The only thing that made it feel better was massaging with lotion and ice and warm showers also helped temporarily. That lasted close to 3 weeks before subsiding. Now at 10 weeks the pain is gone but I still have some swelling at the incisions site and tingling and weakness which all are part of the healing process.

As of now my arms do look better but not what I expected for the cost and pain but then again my arms weren't all that bad. I have never been more than 25 lbs over weight but with age I was losing elastisity no matter how much I lifted weights.

I think it is still to early to see final results and I may feel different in a couple of months when all swelling and discomfort has subsided. I can say when I had my TT I was thrilled because of the big difference I saw in the way I looked and the way my clothes fit.

Right now the scars are red and raised on part of it (the part going down the arm), but I think in a few months they will look okay. I am using merderma, silicone scar strips, coco butter and some vitamin oils to help them to become flat. I really think only time does it but I still use everything I can to help speed the process.

I have not posted pictures of my scars yet but if any of you want to see pm me and I will send you a picture.

Take care and good luck to all.

Hi,

I had a mini armlift by Dr. Campos. I am very happy with my results so far. I did not have a lot of loose skin, mostly saggy, wrinkly look. He did not do lipo, although my arms appear a little thinner, but that was not my concern.

These incisions have taken the longest to heal because of the moisture that is trapped there naturally. I was instructed to not lift my arms at all for a couple of weeks, which is difficult to do, but any tug reminded me of the incision. The incision just healed completely at almost three weeks. The scar looks very ugly and raised, but is starting to subside. One side did not heal as cleanly as the other, but it is in the armpit, so I am not very concerned.

I do not have before pics unfortunately, but I will post pics in the next few days. I will definitely be sporting tank tops this summer.

I believe it was well worth the pain. Good luck to you both.

I just had this procedure done 3 weeks ago and my results are amazing! I am so happy even though I still have swelling and bruising. My CG seams have also rubbed me a little raw on my incisions. I actually stopped wearing it 2 days ago even though I'm supposed to wear it for 4 weeks. I've ordered a spanx shirt which I know will have better arm compression since my Dr also did upper arm and axilla lipo along with the lift. My scar is lumpy and raised to but I'm sure it will flatten with time. Just thought I'd share my experience. :)

H.

I posted a few pics. Still loving my results. My left incision is taking longer to heal, but it's coming along. Remember, I had no lipo. I did not want the vertical incision and was afraid lipo would just create more loose skin.

Here's the link, no pw necessary.

Thank you Paula,

I am very happy. The pictures don't do the results justice. I wish I had before pix, but I didn't think to do that.

They really look nice and smooth.

I am 4 weeks post op full arm lift with incision extending all the way down my armpit. The first 2 weeks I applied neosporin daily and changed bandages daily per doctor's instructions. I then developed a painful, burning, and itching rash in my armpits. The doctor diagnosed it as an allergic reaction to neosporin, so I immediately switched to bacitracin on the incisions and hydrocortisone cream on the rash. That didn't work, so doctor prescribed 6-day steroid pack, and I've finished day 4 so far. Some of the rash has cleared up, but one of my pits is still very inflamed incisions with rash. Any suggestions? The pain, itch, and burn are excruciating.

When I had an allergic reaction I took oral medication to help with it. It worked faster. I can't remember what it was called but its is used to clear up allergic reaction. I had that twice after surgery.
