Brachioplasty - S-Incision?

Re: Brachioplasty - S-Incision?

My scar is in a c shape. Under the arm pit and a bit on the back of it. I am not crazy about the back scar but its fading slowly. Its an alternative to a scar down the arm. Continue to do your research but the best advice I can give you is send pictures to surgeons for their opinion on the best solution for you.

I see from different surgeons websites in the USA (i'm in australia) that there are 2 types of incisions, with the s-incision pictures I cannot see any scars. Can anybody explain this s-incision to me or point out where the scars end up? The only type of scar I have been offered here is the armpit to elbow.

Thank you in advance!

Hi,
I am 3 wks po from brachio.I have started massaging my
incision as much as I can.I don't really know if I'm doing
any good or not.My arms are very tender,so I am just doing
what I can tolerate. Is there a particular way that anyones ps
told them to do it?My ps didn't tell me to,but I figured it couldn't
hurt.Thanks for your input.
