Anyone regret breast implants?

Anyone regret breast implants?

Anyone regret getting a boob job? Can you tell me the negative things about having implants?
Are they uncomfortable?

And the fact that you have to have them replaced every 5-10 yrs, which they will then cost probably close to 20,000!

:D No, I cant. It really hurts for about 5 days(I am very strong when it comes to pain-ie natural births), but it floored me. Couldnt pull up my pants, lift my arms , or open a drarer. That said, my confidence is awsome, I love my new body and everyone is very supportive, good luck, meredith

I do not "feel" my implants I am totally happy with my results! Like with any sx there is a period of healing and uncomfortableness that with time passes.
Breast implants do not need to be exchanged unless there is a problem with them (hardening, leaking etc.) Good luck to you on your journey. Feel free to continue asking questions and research as much as you can. :D

I haven't regretted it for one minute. Yes, there is the pain for the first week or so but as long as you go into it knowing that you are prepared for it. You are limited in doing house work but hey you can always hire someone to clean your house for you.

The confidence you gain is well worth it in the long run and so what if you have to have em replaced in 10 years, start a special boobie savings account that you pay into each month and it won't be a problem. Maybe you can go 15 years before you have to have em replaced. I have my special account set up and have already saved up some of the cost of my next surgery. The next time I plan to go up in size by at least 125ccs so I will be looking even hotter for a 50 year old gma! I would do it again tomorrow if I had all the money saved up and all my credit cards paid off. That is my goal to pay off all my bills and have the funds saved then have the ba to go larger.

You will find that it makes you feel more confident and sexy in your own skin. You will begin shopping for sexy lingerie and just wearing sexy underwear will boost your confidence like you wouldn't believe. Just go in knowing all the facts and the you are well aware of any complications and you are prepared. Read the stickies at the top of the forum and do your homework. Knowledge is power. Do not be afraid to take this chance to feel like a woman and have the body you always wanted. It is such a fantasic thing to give to yourself.

My only regret is that my 300cc implants are not 450cc implants...seriously. That is my only regret.
I am not afraid that they will be $20,000 in years to come because as studies prove the safety of silicone implants, availability will be more, and PS's will have to keep their prices down to be competitive.
Also, there is no real rule that you have to replace in 5-10 years. I know several women who've had their implants for 20 years. You only have to replace them if they leak. I refuse to let the "maybe in 10 years" keep me from looking and feeling good today.

No regrets. My ps said I may never have to have my saline one's replaced - only if there is a problem with deflation or CC.

I think with silicone they do recommend changing them every so many years, but, I could be wrong about that.

Maybe someone who has silicone will chime in.

I don't regret it either! And as some of you know, I was feeling down yesterday (better today!). When I look at my pre-BA photos I'm like, yep, right decision!

The only thing is that I wish the healing was faster, but logically a few months of healing for years of enjoyment is definitely worth it.
It's so nice looking down to full breasts!

Here's to making the right decision for you,

My only regret is that I had no boobs, and my body certainly doesn't like implants. I am getting ready for my third op -- orig. BA 21 years ago, 1 yr. ago reaug/capsulectomy, and this time BL/capsulectomy/implant exchange. My first set never dropped and were ruptured at 20 years, and this time I developed CC one week after my 3 mo. PO visit. I pray that this time the boobie fairy will look favorably on me and I will look better and maybe won't develop CC. I have silicone unders, and saline isn't an option for me, so I can't do anything different to fend off CC. I just am tired of being overly focused on my uncooperative boobs for the last year and it certainly has been expensive ...

That said, I think implants are a great choice for many women, and I say for anyone thinking of having a BA, do your homework, talk to others, and if it feels right, go for it!

the only thing i regret is letting my ps stick 330ccs in me. i wish i had smaller implants. it's expensive to get a redo when you don't spend enough time researching size. makemeheal's breast implant sizer would probably have made a big difference. and another thing i regret is going periareolar and not in the crease because i do not scar well.
other than that i am all gung ho to do it again! = )

awwww budgi, i wish we could switch implants! i got 270's and wish i had gotten 330s...haha

but other than that, i DO NOT regret getting implants. i am still relatively close PO (3months), but i love them so much and fit so well into clothes.

Yay boobs!
