I had my pre- op last night with Dr Grigoryants and I am so confused where I want my incision made! I am getting 400 cc Moderate Plus silicones but I dont know where the incision should be!!!
I dont want to lose any chance of breastfeeding but I also dont want to have a big scar under my breasts.
Did anyone here breastfeed after you got your breasts done through the aerola?
You won't be able to see the scar under the breast, it will be in the "fold". I just had mine under the breast and I don't think the scar is that big at all. I'd be worried about sensation and feeling if it was done through the nipple. I had a BR years ago and have limited feelings in it. What does your PS prefer?
FTT with lipo to flanks and back. AL with lipo. Feb.. 2009 Medial TL with lipo to inner/outer thighs. Lipo to upper/lower abs Oct. 2009 BA, silicone, under the muscle, 457 cc's Nov. 2009
I had mine through the aereola - I'm 8 weeks post op and my scars are healing nicely. I don't have any sensation loss there at all. But that of course is a possible side effect with the aereola incision. My good friend who had a BA 15 years ago through the aereola said her scars healed to a very thin line that you can't even see unless you know it's there.
I don't know about breast feeding after BA so I don't have any comment on that. :O)
My incision is in the crease, and have much smaller implants than you are getting and the scar is hidden just fine...unless of course you're looking for it. But really, it's not very big or noticeable at all. If you're worried about breast feeding I would definitely go with a crease incision...I had a hard time with this decision too and looking back I don't know why I was so worried about seeing the scar because it's not noticeable at all. Hope this helps!
Hello, I had my breast augmentation done in April. My incision is under my areola. I haven’t had any problems. I have full feeling thought my entire breast. I have not breastfeed any babies after surgery, I do have friends that have. Are your implants going to be under the muscle? Have your breastfeed before? If not, there is no guarantee you can…. What did your plastic surgeon say?

I just had my BA about a month ago and my incision was through the areola. so far i have no loss of sensation at all and you can barely see the incision at just one month. at first i was really skeptical about the areola, it just freaked me out but everything came out really well. im hoping breastfeeding goes well too. My aunt had hers done through the crease and she said you cant even see it, but, i have heard that for some people its very noticeable when the scar rises up into the middle of your breast.
