Definitely not. Just those weeks your PS requires you too. After that only when you are dressed and would wear one normally anyway. After my first lift and augment, age 27 and early 90's I went braless a lot for years. Lots of open back sun dresses, tanks, etc. Now I'm pushing fifty I wear a bra daily, but certainly not to bed.
That's not healthy long term anyway as it restricts lymph flow. I take mine off early evening but that's just my thing.
My PS had me in sports bra/compression bra 24/7 for 8 weeks after this last surgery and then only during the day another month. Probably mostly due to the lift. After that regular bras.
But not everybody has to do that. You know how they are all different. Whatever your doc had you do was perfect for you.
I'm sure a lot of my situation was the lift. I think the lift ladies have to wear a compression/sports bra longer.
I wore a really light type sports bra. Not one of those heavy duty things. I had the type you buy 2 for $10 at Walmart. I mean that's not the type I wear while working out, but that's the type I wore for my recovery since I had to wear them around the clock. First 3 weeks I wore a medical grade compression bra.
