Hi all- I had my breasts done almost 2 weeks ago. I started as a droopy B cup and wanted to go to a full C. I'm 5'4' and weigh about 125lbs. My whole life though I was always a C/D cup naturally and then babies and weight loss came and took them away to a droopy mess. The biggest I ever was after childbirth was a 38G, so I know there's plenty of room in my body for big boobs! I told my Dr. I didn't want to look like a porn queen when all was said and done, but that I did want to be a full C again. There was no trying on sizes in the office or talk of different kinds of implants. He does silicone only. I wish I had put more research into this before my surgery.
He put in 275 moderate silcone cc (At least that's what my cards reads). At first I thought they actually looked like the right size, but then as the swelling went down I was somewhat deflated myself and now they don't even look that much bigger than what I started with! In fact, I can actually wear the same B bras without padding that I had before the surgery. Granted my breasts are more full in the fact they aren't so droopy, but they certainly aren't a full C either. My Dr. tells me the 6 week mark is when I'll really know what they're going to look like. In my size small shirts, my boobs aren't even bulging against them! I guess they do look and feel very natural and if I started off being concave or a mini-A I would probably be ecstatic, but even looking at pictures of my natural boobs 2 years ago way after having kids and they were bigger than they are now, it's a bit depressing. I was clear I wanted to fill out my swimsuit top and it fits just about the same. Urgh! I really don't want to have to go back to wearing push up bras. Afterall, isn't that the whole point of getting boobs? Sorry to vent, I just wanted to see if anyone else out there has gone through this. I'd love to hear your thoughts.
I am really sorry to hear that you are unhappy with your BA. I am surprised that you didn't try on sizers when you went for your consultation, that would have been helpful for you and the ps to determine exactly what look you were after. I tried on many sizers at my consultation, and even went back 2 more times to make sure I really was happy with the size I chose. I would definitely talk to your ps the next time you see him about how unhappy you are. I'm not sure if anything can be done to change the outcome, but maybe he would be willing to re-do your BA (If you are willing too of course ) to get you the size you want.

Sorry to hear that luv, when they settle in you'ld probably like the final look
Im selfish, impatient n insecure, out of control n at times hard to handle. But if you cant handle me at my worst, you dont deserve me at my best
I'm sorry you are not happy with your size. I'm sure you'll like them more in a couple months... but in order to get a full c or small d you will def need some more ccs. You should tell all this to your surgeon and he might be able to help you. I know my surgeon offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee and he would reoperate on me for up to one year without charging his fees again. I hope you talk to him about this. Good luck!

Just wanted to say that my old B cup bras also fitted 2 weeks out of surgery- this is because my breasts hadnt ;dropped' yet. There's now way I could get into those old bras now! D & F and time (time as in MONTHS) are wonderful things. I was unhappy with my results for the first few months and although if i could do it all over again I'd still get them a bit bigger- a padded bra gets the same result- and I am now generally happy. I'm sure you will be happier in time!
HI, I have the same problem. I have 304cc silicone. First surgery he made them too low and a double bubble. He revised and made them higher. I mentioned to him that the implant was too small for my breast tissue and he said he wasn't changing the size. So I went ahead on his advice. Now I am stuck with a breast implant full on top and nothing on bottom. What I learned from other doctors is if your breasts were larger during pregnancy then you need to fill out the breast with a bigger implant otherwise it will get lost and the appear as nothing. I was never measured either. I just had sizers to look at. But that is hard to tell what we fill out your breast . I will be going for a third surgery with bigger implants.
I also wish I would of gone bigger. My doctor said, I never have anyone come to me and tell me that they are too big, they always say they are too small, so keep that in mind. I still said I want to be a full C, I don't want my boobs to be the first thing that people see when they look in my direction!
Well, here I am now with a small C after all swelling has gone down and I have lost some weight. Some days I wish they were slightly larger and others I think this is a good fit for my frame. I have been thinking about having my breast augmentation redone and switching from saline to silicon and going a little larger....
Thanks so much ladies for your comments and support. It helps so much having a place to vent to as I've only told my BFF, but NO ONE in town where I live. I went today for my almost 3 week check up to my ps with a whole laundry list of questions and concerns about my BA and TT. My ps was very thoughtful as he answered each concern. I didn't like all that he had to say, but the gist of it was that I had to give everything more time to see what my true results were going to be. I guess my boobs have dropped some and still have a little more to go. He could see why I was unhappy now though b/c this past week, they've become just bigger versions of what I had pre-surgery. Droopy blobs- not the perky, full boobs I thought I was getting and really wanted. He's hoping when the implants fully drop, they will lift my nipples so they don't point downward and will give my boobs more fullness. If that doesn't happen though, he said he'll go back in and give me the lift I originally paid for in about 6 months or so. On surgery day, he thought the implants would lift my boobs enough so he wanted to avoid giving me the extra scars. It's kind of a daunting thought though possibly going through this whole healing process all over again!
i was in the same situation you were before surgery with sagging breasts and the plastic surgeon i finally went to didn't try to talk me into silicone vs. saline. I have friends with both, but all the girls with silicone don't look so great out of a bra. He told me that only certain girls will look good with silicone...I got the sense that during all the consults i saw who tried to sell me into silicone were b/c it costs alot more? I just got that sense for some reason.
My doctor showed me a bunch of pictures of girls who sagged like me before surgery, with nice full cleavage. He did something he called an internal lift through my augmentation incision b/c he hates putting lift scars on women's breasts and told me i would look better with saline. But, he said if i was unhappy and wanted silicone that he would do the surgery for free since he told me my result would be better with a certain implant. I started with a sagging C/D and now i'm just a perky version of myself! You may want to ask him what your options are as i know you're in a difficult situation and i have a few friends who were in your situation too and their surgeon was an A-hole, luckily mine is very sweet and easy to talk to. You never know, but hopefully they shape up by the time you go back to see your surgeon, good luck. where is your surgeon located?
Hi Beachgirl35- Do you by any chance have pictures of your before and after with your internal lift? I'd love to see your results for myself, but also so I can bring them in to my ps the next time I see him and talk about the possibility of the internal lift if he does do revisions on me in the future. I'm not even sure if he does that. I can't imagine why he wouldn't just do that when he was in there already with me knowing that was an issue. He said I was one of those gray zone patients where it could have gone either way whether the implants alone would have done the job to make my breasts lift and be full and perky. As of yet, they haven't, but he's hopeful when they drop I'll be happier. I wish they looked like all the BA pictures you see and am not looking forward to even more scars on my body after the massive one I got from my TT. Saline wasn't an option for me, as my ps doesn't use them at all. I hear from all these otehr posts about different brands of silicone and moderate vs. high profile, but those weren't options for me either. He just puts in what he thinks is best. I only wish now I had put more time and research into all of this. I would have know that 275cc's just wasn't going to quite cut it. Maybe even 350cc would have been great. I'm in the SF bay area.
Ok, just did a quick internet search on internal breast lifts and this is what I found (see below) It appears it's usually done in conjunction with a tradition breast lift to support it. It doesn't talk about only getting an internal without the traditional though. Hmmm???? Maybe that's for patients like me who are on the fence?
Article: http://www.plasticsurgeryguide.com/inte ... -lift.html Excerpt: "An internal breast lift uses the latest in laser technology to enhance the results of a breast lift and make them more permanent. A laser is used to send heat energy deep beneath the skin into the underlying tissue of the breast. The heat causes tissue to contract, resulting in firmer tissue. By carefully controlling which areas of the breast receive this heat energy, a skilled surgeon can create an internal bra that helps support the weight of the breast. This internal bra can then be attached to the chest wall to provide sturdy support for the newly shaped breast. Internal breast lifts are mainly a supplement to the traditional breast lift procedure. It doesn't require more time than a traditional breast lift and adds no extra risks. The only thing it does do is make the breast lift more pronounced and permanent."
Hi again, can you email me what your before and after look like now, so i have an idea of excactly what you're talking about? maybe they aren't so bad, but you have gotten used to them. i will try to find the pictures i have and email you my before and after, my doctor gave me a copy of his and i just have to locate them and scan them for you. The internal lift i got did NOT make any other cuts on my breast except for the one he put the implant through. You won't find any information about his technique, as i looked long and hard as well...he uses stiches somehow to support the breast and some kind of different technique, no foreign material or lazers...wow, i'd be carefull with lazer on the breast, could cause some kind of cancer with breast tissue i would think, scary. Good luck and i look forward to seeing your pics and i'll send you mine asap!
Hi beachgirl35- I need to take some recent photos since it's been awhile. I'll try to get them up in the next day or so. Still feeling like my ps should have gone a tad bigger, but I am getting used to them I suppose. At least people all over town aren't asking me if I've had a boob job. You're so lucky your ps knew how do to that internal lift! I can't wait to see what that looks like! I can't decide whether it's worth someday going back in and hoisting them up, but then having the scars or just dealing with them with a more supportive bra. Of course that's why I had the boob surgery in the first place...urgh! I feel like in the past couple of days they may have dropped a little changing the way they're positioned. Need to take pictures though just to see the difference myself to see if that's really the case or I'm just hallucinating
