Benelli Lift and Aug PUCKERING UGH!

Benelli Lift and Aug PUCKERING UGH!

Postby Baileyfault » Mon Nov 17, 2008 4:50 pm

Hello, I am new to this website. I just had a benelli lift and aug (250cc's silicone) 10 days ago.

I am shocked at the areaolae's (sp?) They look like two different shaped cirlces (the left is more oval) with pleating/puckering around the entire circle.

I had Level II ptosis and opted to not have the lollipop because of the scar.

If anyone has any imput or experience. I would really appreciate it. I am obsessing and sick over it. I feel like I have deformed boobies now.

Please help.

Hi Bailey,

Do you have a pic? I did not have a benelli lift but the lift I got also results in the pleating you have around the nipple. My PS said it is just part of the technique and it will smooth out. To look at them now I know you wonder how that's humanly possible but I have faith in my PS.

About the different shaped nipples I don't know. A picture might help.

pic

Postby Baileyfault » Mon Nov 17, 2008 7:01 pm

My daughter just broke my camera. Otherwise my boobies would be all over the web trying to figure out if what I have is normal. If I could figure out how to get a pic from my camera to the website I would.

I don't understand the phyisiology of the breast smoothing out. How could it possible smooth out?

Thank you so much for your kindly repsonse. :)

puckering

Postby getinready » Mon Nov 17, 2008 8:34 pm

I know how you feel and it does go away. My areolas were like two hersey kisses sitting in the middle of my breast. You could see it through my bra. They were puffy and puckered, one more than the other. I do not recall how long it took, but it does go away. They flatten out and there is no puckering, they look normal and natural. Hang in there.

Your boobs look great! Wow. The pleating you had in the beginning does look like mine.

I can't wait to cover them with the Biodermis silicone sheets so I don't have to look at them.

I think I'm supposed to wait until everything has healed.

I had horrible puckering. Not so much around my nipples but on my verticle and horizontal incisions. I had a full anchor lift. I was so worried about the puckering for the first few weeks. I am now on week 5 and it is all gone. Not a pucker left ! so don't worry!

Cookie71 Could I see your pics?

I am receiving a lot of positive affirmations over this issue. I'm praying it goes away.

thank you for you reply!

I sent you my pw. The pictures should be updated again. You can see in the 3 week how much puckering is on the right breast. It is substainially diminished by week 4. Even better now. Flat as can be. If someone had of told me it would have cleared up so fast, I wouldn't have believed them.

I think it got better when your swelling goes down and the dissolving stitches start to go. I noticed when I did massage at 4 weeks I felt a "popping" when I rubbed. It was almost like popping bubble wrap ( that sounds weird I know  ) but it didn't hurt. Right after that, they laid flat. My PS had said wait til four weeks to start massaging though so make sure you follow whatever direction they gave you.

Don't worry!

Hello Baileyfault,
I just had my breast lift surgery last saturday and I am extremelly worry about the current look of my breast, I couldn't stop crying since last night when I first took out the surgical tape. Reading about this is giving me a little more hope that everything will look normal in time. With that in mind I notice that its has been a couple of weeks since your surgery and would like to know if your breast are starting to look normal.

Breast Lift Aug at 13 days

Postby Baileyfault » Thu Nov 20, 2008 6:15 pm

Girasol

I started putting on my silicone sheets yesterday but I think I will have to wait another 2 days - all scabs should be off by then. That is a good thing; scabs are healing properly but I still notice the puckering; not a good thing. I am praying week 5 to show mass improvement. That seems to be the consensus from everyone. I had a very dear nurse friend look at them and say its completely normal and they will go away. I see maybe a 15% improvement on the right breast and a 2% on the left. I'm still betting on the 5 week mark. The nipple silicone pads I'm hoping will help as well. Hang in there. Everyone who responded said its completely normal. I believe they will be normal. Just think good thoughts on smooth boobies. :)

Hi Baileyfault,
thank you very much for your reply, I'm starting to feel more hopeful and I know it has only been 5days. I also got a tummy tuck and will be taking of the tape today, hopefully it won't be as shocking as my breast.
Please keep me posted with your progress.
By the way, where did you buy the silicone sheets?

Silicone sheets

Postby Baileyfault » Fri Nov 21, 2008 5:24 pm

Hello Girasol

I actually purchased the circular nipple ones on this website. They have a store. They are made by Biodermis.

Silicone is supposed to work wonders on scars...hoping they do...

I will keep you and everyone updated...
Cheers

I am going through the exact same thing right now

Postby kelly3577 » Sat Nov 22, 2008 3:20 am

I just had a benelli lift with implants one week ago. I should have had the lollipop but I didn't want the scar. The doctor gave me 650cc under the muscle silicone to try and fill out the skin. I breastfed to babies and had alot of extra skin. I have puckering and wrinkling of skin around my entire nipple. Its about an inch thich around the entire nipple of puckering and pleats. I can't evenlook at it. I almost faint. I want to cry everytime I look at them. There is no way it can heal I don't think. I can't even sleep I'm so mad at myself for having this procedure.

WE just have to wait...and not look until more time has passed.

Hang in there!

I'll post 1 mo PO pics as soon as my camera batteries recharge. There is hope!! Almost all of the puckering is gone and the redness is fading. Don't get discouraged :D ! I'll post a link and you can PM me for a PW once I get the pics loaded.
