stitch popped at the T incision on my left breast

stitch popped at the T incision on my left breast

Postby salazarliz » Tue Jul 03, 2012 10:53 am

At 3 weeks one of my stitches popped leaving me with a pea size hole on my T incision. my PS cut the dead skin off and told me to apply neosporin and a bandaid over it.
After 1 1/2 weeks of it not healing and getting phantom pains everywhere else on my breast and not the incision my husband said maybe I was keeping it to moist so I stopped covering it and used peroxide wrong answer.
After about 3 days I looked on the internet and discoverd Honey!!! I boiled some honey I had here at home to sterilize it since I didnt want to wait for orderd Manuka Honey. I applied the honey to my bandaid and when I took it off I saw the dead skin peeling so I took it off and my incision had started to bleed, I though what did I do. I got on the net and read about the honey healing properties and found out it was getting prepared for the healing process. so I continued with the honey and 2 days later I saw a big difference. Finally its healing and my breast doesn't have phantom pains shooting all over the wound is a healthy pink now and its been about 4 days since I have started using the honey I am more then amazed at honeys healing properties!

Also I have to say I am pretty impressed with my PS after surgery I expected to see bruising on my breasts and I never had any bruises. My PS doesn't use drains and I didnt need any more pain killers after the 2nd day. Where I do have some discomfort is when I sleep at night then my implants feel like dead weight no matter in which position I sleep. almost feels like when you sleep with a body part in one position to long and you ache when you change positions. Is anyone experiencing the same?
