Anyone else's boobs/nipples crooked, post-op???

Anyone else's boobs/nipples crooked, post-op???

Postby GreatRackAtLast » Sun Oct 14, 2007 2:29 pm

Hi everyone,

I'm about 4.5 month post-op (check my ticker in my sig file for sure), and my boobs/nipples are crooked! They don't look so bad when I'm naked, but when I put a shirt on, you can really see that the nipples are all askew.

Should I be panicking yet? Or will there still be more changes to come? I am really upset - don't know if there's anything the PS could do to fix it, and even if so, do I really want MORE surgery (and would insurance cover it)???

Wah!

I hear 'ya!

I'm about 9 weeks post-op and my right nipple/areola is about twice as big as the left. NOT happy about that. Altho they seem to be "even" when I look in the mirror. But the righty sags to the right. Guess I'll have to wait to get it fixed. :(

Ask your PS if he could do a "fix-up" -- maybe it wouldn't take much at all to get you back in alignment. They usually like to wait at least 6 months before doing revisions, but if it is really bothering you, I'd say, talk to your PS and see what the options are. :)

Hi, I'm a year OP and my right areaola was higher than the left. It seemed to take forever but they are pretty much leval now. So hang in there and give it time. I had other issues with my BR so I will be getting a BA in 2 weeks. My PS knew I wasn't happy and is doing my surgery with no fee just Hospital and aneast. costs. So keep that in mind. Good luck and happy healing.
