Date Set....Hope for the best!

Date Set....Hope for the best!

Postby angie36DD » Thu Jul 25, 2013 12:30 pm

hi all, we'll my date is set for my breast reduction, Sept 25th.
Been a little anxious to finally get this done. Goodbye DD's
I am not sure what to expect, but as long as this pain and discomfort of heavy breasts goes away I will be satisfied.
I was at the surgeons office today, for the pre op pics, and getting all the information needed, and I actually tried to talk my surgeon into bringing me down to an A cup, but he said no, he said a C cup, then I mentioned a B cup, he finally agreed to a BB cup.
so I think I will remind him day I'd the surgery just to make sure, even though on my pre op file he clicked under the size BB.
Wow seeing the pictures of my breast right now was scared, I actually never really noticed how much bigger one is compared to the other.
anyone else like this?
would like to hear from all for any personal information if you don't mind sharing with me about your experience with your breast reduction, how you felt after, could you feel the difference right away in your back, neck and shoulders?
thanks all

Best of luck! Hope your doc is a good listener and makes you the right size.
(Oh, and it is totally normal for one breast to be bigger than the other - it's just that most of the time we don't notice.)

Do you have scar reduction sheets for healing yet? They can make a huge difference in your cosmetic results:

By flattening, softening, smoothing, and blending the scar with the surrounding healthy skin, these silicone sheets helps make the scar far less noticeable. Additionally, these silicone sheets may be used to help in the prevention of hypertrophic and keloid scarring when used on closed scars following surgery, trauma, or burns. This silicone sheet is designed especially for breast reduction, breast augmentation, breast lift (mastopexy), and mastectomy (breast cancer surgery) and can be easily cut by the patient to fit any type, shape, or size of scar.

Oleeva works well on both new and old scars regardless of the age of the scar, and can be used on all types of post-surgery scars, hypertrophic and keloid scars, and other scar types caused by injury, trauma, and burns. Recommended by plastic surgeons and dermatologists, Oleeva Scar Reduction Sheets are so thin, soft, and flexible, that you will forget that you're wearing the latest technology for scar management. The outer surface of the sheet is covered with a silky fabric for a touch of elegance and optimal comfort. Most importantly, the inner surface is made of a patented material called Silon, which is formed from a unique blend of silicone and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). The PTFE provides an internal reinforcing mechanism, thereby creating very thin sheets of soft silicone with significantly enhanced physical strength.
