How do you wash your hair after surgery?

My mom bought a detachable shower head and washed my hair for me for the first couple of weeks. Once I got comfortable with moving my arms a LITTLE bit, I was able to figure out how to just hold my head lower and do everything gently. I have really long straight hair, almost down to my behind.
