Male gynecomastia

Male gynecomastia

Postby apache15 » Sun Mar 15, 2015 10:32 am

38 yo healthy and fit male, no medical problems. Mild B/L subareolar breast tenderness, suspect B/L mild gynecomastia. Would like to get this removed i.e. reduction mammoplasty. Here is an image of what it looks like now and what I'd like it to look like after: http://www.cosmetic-md.com/media/patien ... 00_q85.jpg

1. Will my insurance cover this, given that it is symptomatic?
2. If not, approximately how much can I expect to pay? (I'm in TX if that is relevant)
3. Will there be scars?

Thank you in advance,
