Too big after reduction?

Too big after reduction?

Postby JK123456 » Tue Dec 22, 2015 2:51 am

Ok so before I was a large D. And I wanted to go to a B cup.
So when I had my consultation PS said he didn't want to go too small, he wanted me to be in proportion, he said the smallest I could go would be a C cup.
I had my breast reduction done 1 month ago and I'm feeling quite upset. They are not any smaller. They are higher and all the loose skin is gone (they were quite saggy), but they are the same size. When I try my clothes on they look exactly as they did before :'(
I've been back twice for tape changes with the nurse but I feel too upset/ embarrassed to say anything, they look wonderful on their own, but I think they look just awful on me.
I don't know what to do. I feel like if I say something I'll sound ungrateful. I feel like he will just tell me "they are proportional". I don't care about proportions, I just want to be small so I don't feel embarrassed and I want to be able to exercise without feeling all that weight there.
I don't know if it's possible to have a second surgery? And I'm even more unsure if he would be willing to do it because he thinks they look "fine and in proportion".
What do I do? I went through all of this and I feel just as unhappy with them now. Even more so because I feel even more stuck with how they are and have paid so much money and everything is worse :'(

How are you feeling now?

I had the same thought when I woke up (It was a difference, but I still felt huge!) because the skin was angry and swollen. It dropped by about a size once everything calmed down, and fluffed out. (I later grew them back, but that's a genetic thing and besides the point)

I hope that everything has been starting to turn out and that it has relaxed into a more comfortable shape for you <3

Did you bring it up to your doctor after all?

A little better, emotionally anyway, thank you for asking :)
They were very perky afterwards but now they are kind of sagging again, not as bad as they were but very much the same size. I tried on a 38C cup bra and it was a little too small.
They were very firm after surgery (maybe it was all the tape) but now they are quite wobbly again.
I mentioned it at the last PO appt. and he said he could've made them a bit smaller. What? He also said he could make them smaller later on maybe with a bit of liposuction. But I'm worried they will be even more saggy after that, especially the sides.
Besides that, scars are fine, went for a run about 6 weeks PO with no pain. Just wish they were 1/3 the size they are now!

When was your surgery and how did it go for you? Did you/ are you having a revision done?
