Do you shrink after swelling goes down post-reduction?

Do you shrink after swelling goes down post-reduction?

Postby melissa123456 » Tue Jun 16, 2015 2:03 pm

I got a breast reduction/lift a week and a half ago and am healing well but am worried I didn't get enough taken out as they seem like they are the same size as they were before, albeit higher :). Has anyone who has had a reduction tell me how much swelling affected their size? On all the message boards, people say they will take months to "settle" but I can't find anywhere where someone has verified they actually do shrink - like "the swelling added about a 1/2 cup size" or something like that (which is what I'm hoping). Can anyone give me hope?
