Just not getting the boppy pillow???

Just not getting the boppy pillow???

Postby frootibooti » Thu Jan 05, 2012 7:05 pm

Hi Ladies, there are a number of you who swear by the boppy pillow. Am I missing something :? I cant figure out how to use it to help protect the bootay :?: The opening seems too small and it seems that a rectangular shaped pillow under the thighs might work, idk. Can someone please explain what you do with the legendary boppy pillow (LOL)
Thanks a bunch!

I haven't had sx yet so I don't know for real, but I have placed a small pillow under my thighs to try and see how it works. I will probably get one from a friend and "practice" lol.

I am not sure about the Boppy (as it is small), but I loved the long pregnancy pillows they sell called Snoogles. It was a true Godsend when I was pregnant and they are very soft and a lot longer than a Boppy. I would think you could manipulate it in the same way, but it's giving you more room to work with.

Yeah the boppy pillow does seem a little small lol! However, I was researching and found a site that sells BUTT Pillows specifically for the BBL. I'm at work but I will make sure to post the site link when I get home. I'm definitely going to try that pillow since it only cost $19 bucks.

Actually I felt the same way but I ended up buying a boppy in Mex. I must admit I truly love this boppy. I drive with it, eat dinner with it, and sometimes sleep with it. However, I sleep more with my snoogle which is great. But the snoogle is huge and it wont fit in your car. I would love to hear more about this butt pillow... i was wondering when one would be created. However, being 8 weeks post op, I strongly suggest you go ahead and get it. But also get a pillow for under your thighs. Thats' what I use at work and when out and about at restaurants. But its not as comfortable as the boppy and the boppy expands to fit your butt.

Oh my!!! 17 hours??? I cried at least 1 hour of my 4.5 hour flight because I was so miserable. You def need a boppy but more than that you need to fly first class. Trust me it will be well worth the $$'s

My return flight will total to 15 hours :( it'll be a 7-8 hour flight, then a 3-4 hour lay over which will give me a break and then the flight back to the UK will last another 7 hours. I'm flying with US airways, NOT business class but I'm hoping by three weeks post op I'll be ok. I've bought a hoppy pillow and have requested wheel chair access which should allow us to get on first and get first pick of the seats. My ass better not deflate due to all the sitting :( x

I know this may be a silly question, but how exactly do you sit on the boppy. I purchase one and I'm not sure how I should be using it. I figured I'd find out when I arrive at CM.

Ladies, I have a few ideas.

First of all I think you can do away with just getting a foam the size of the chair and cut a hole in it in the middle for your bootay. Make sure foam is nice and thick. Put a cover on it and no one will know it has a hole. You can pretend its for your back lol.

Second, I went to craft store today and came across this, which may be a good idea too. Its a rubber pillow and it squishes in the middle.

well the boby is cotton and soft ladies and it has a big hole cut out in the middle so when you sit on it most of your butt will be in the open hole. Some of your butt will be on the outer boppy and not in the center hole of the pillow but it is soft because its a cotton filled pillow with a hole cut in it...so just sit on it and most of your but will just be hanging in that hole and some will be supported by the soft cotton pillow part of the outer circle part of the bobby....

Great idea about the foam in a pillow for the back!!! I will see if my boppy will fit in one when it arrives to play around before returning to work.
