6 Weeks Post-Op Dra. Yily De Los Santos

6 Weeks Post-Op Dra. Yily De Los Santos

Postby Theebonydoll » Sun Aug 05, 2012 6:47 am

Hey ladies, I had my surgery with Dra. Yily on June 21. I stayed in DR for 6 days. I had lipo with fat transfer to my buttocks and hips. I must say I love my results so far. Unfortunately, I will not be posting pics but I have communicated with a few girls from the board and shared pics with them. If interested, shoot me an email maybe I will send a few your way. Anyways, I wanted to post about my overall experience, but I am moved to first ask for prayers for Aquarius. My lil twin is having a tough recovery and I would like us all to keep her in our thoughts and prayers.

So I had surgery June 21. It went better than expected. I stayed at Cipla for that first night then off to Jaqueline Marrero recovery house. While at Cipla I did run into Cabral. He literally came into my room like I was his patient lol. He was about to start marking me for surgery until I told him wrong room. Everything people say about him is true, he operates on several girls a day and he is in and out of his operating room. On the other hand, I saw his work first hand and it is good. Ultimately, the drama with him on mmh and his aftercare dissuaded me from using him. I love Dra. Yily. She doesnt speak much English but between her assistant and my assistant from the recovery house we were able to communicate. Yily is beautiful and about her business. She made sure I was comfortable and pretty much checked on me daily while I was in Santo Domingo. The only complication I had was a large seroma on abdomen. It collected several ccs of blood and fluid which she drained 4 times. The 3rd time she did it she took so many syringes while I was standing up that I thought I was gonna pass out. However, I made it through and the last time she did it no problems. The fluid has not came back. I hate wearing the faja, I know I have to, but the thing is so damn uncomfortable. It has been resized 3 times, due to my waist shrinking. So far I have not done measurements, but I will say my curves are ridiculous. I am def turning heads with this itty bitty waist and donk I have lol. My waist is prob 25 and my hips are prob 41-42. Anyways, I hope this helps someone out there.

Thank you for coming back and briefing us on your experience with her.
Lets Pray that Aquarius will come out of this bad experience quickly, and with time, come to love her results as you have yours.

Yily is my number one, but now i'm wavering after hearing about Aquarius experience. I must ask, how was Yily's bedside manner, Aquarius mentioned she was a lil bitchy?

yayyyyy thank you for your post! I have been swaying towards her as well. I want a donk too lol ... But when Aquarius said that her bum was little that scared me a little..

Do you know around how many ccs she put in your bum? As far for the little waist I am loving that girl! What was your size before the surgery?

I feel alot better with your experience

Unfortunately due to all the negativity on the board I will not be sending out pics. Not that any of you ladies have been negative, but I just don't feel its a good thing to do in light of everything going on with Aquarius. Yily was super nice to me. She was attentive and addressed my issues. She was not bitchy to me, but very much about her business. I talked to her several times during my stay there and since I have been back home. I already had a nice sized butt prior to surgery so now I def have a donk. She was able to give it a lift and make it rounder with more projection. If you are looking for a surgeon that makes a donk on the first go, Idk if you will be happy.

Wow, sounds like she did a fantastic job! I am glad to hear that you are recovering well and that you love your results.

Seeing all these posts about Dr. Yily is really making me reconsider traveling out of the states to get my work done :?

I'm glad that your surgery went well. Up until today I wanted to go to her. But she's extremely unprofessional. I asked her how long has she been a plastic surgeon. The first response was and I quote 'long enough to know what is good for my patients.' Very weird answer, because most Doctors have no problem with their credentials or how long they practiced. So I asked her how many years is that exactly? She told me to contact another doctor. I don't know about you, but I will NOT go to someone as unprofessional as her. I don't want to be in another country and something goes wrong. So for everyone considering her, please be careful.

She was to me. I asked her how long she's been a ps and her response was nasty. I admit that her work is good, but if your unprofessional when someone asks a question about a dr.'s credentials I automatically don't trust you. So I'm going to someone else. I just may stay in the U S.
