Hi: I too have suffered with cellulite my entire life. I had lipo and it definitely made it worse. In fact I now have ripples on the front of my thighs which I never had before. I am thinking about vela smooth vs smooth shapes. I would love to see some improvement but the bottom line is this. I am very fit. I exercise and I am in great shape otherwise. As much as I hate having cellulite I refuse to let it ruin my life. I buy and where the hottest sexiest tiny bikinis I can find and flaunt my Kim kardasion curves! Life's too short ladies. Get out there and enjoy. Very few women are perfect.
for me the only possible way to effectively reduce cellulite is reducing your body fat..that might be not the most pleasant way but it WORKS. i.e. healthy diet and excersice 3 times per week minimum. Swimming and Tae Boe is awsome, but you can vary! You probably won't get rid of it totally (what a dream), but hey the less the better
I'm only 21 and i have it. I've never be over weight at all i've weighed 7 and a half stone since i was 14 and im 5ft 4. I hate it but the women that have noticed it in the late 30's should feel lucky. 21 is the age people like to wear little shorts etc. i can't even do that. Think your selves lucky
Yes, cellulite is ugly. I'm sorry you're dealing with this.
I've cut out gluten (wheat), dairy, caffeine, refined sugar and alcohol. It's been two years since I've done this, and it hasn't helped. I've also been a runner for 11 years (two marathons and four half-marathons). I exercise for one hour just about every single day. No change.
Cellulite is caused by TOO MUCH ESTROGEN. I've had this problem since I was 22 (I'm 36 now). A way to balance too much estrogen is to use progesterone cream, as I've just learned.
My estrogen dominance issues are caused by a slight case of hypothyroidism, which causes me to retain water -- and that makes my cellulite absolutely hideous.
Slowly, I'm treating my hypothyroidism with Nature-Throid (not Synthroid, which is synthetic), and I'm using paraben-free progesterone cream (natural). Avoid parabens, as they increase your estrogen. And never consume soy.
So far, I see a little improvement, but it takes time. I also take 3 grams of fish oil every day.
