I had cheeks implants with Dr. Slupchynskyj in May 2015. A lot of people on RealSelf/elsewhere have written good things about him and cheek implants, so that's why I consulted with him.
I've provided you with a 3D CT Scan of my skull and implants about 1.5 years post op - the result is almost comical it's so bad.
I always thought the result was so asymmetrical because maybe my face was just naturally asymmetrical, so the implants made it more apparent. Well, that's at least what he told me when I asked why my face was looking so crooked.
But clearly you can see in these CT Scan images that's simply not the case... at all. The right implant is completely vertical and actually projects partially into my temporal area. The left implant is in another area entirely - hanging down into the submalar area and at a completely different angle than the right one.
Also, be very wary of the 'good' reviews you read about him online. I personally was given a $500 discount to post 'good' reviews for him on Google/RealSelf (and I have the emails to prove it). I've also noticed that some of the honest reviews I've posted on other sites (Google, RateMDs, etc.) have been deleted.
Here are the pics, always do tons of research before choosing a plastic surgeon, and don't make the same mistake I did...
My face is far from perfect, but it is not the lopsided mess he tried to tell me it was:
