what is the ideal jaw line for a male? what do females like?

Postby King_Fedor » Sat Apr 12, 2008 7:05 am

hi :) im 21, and i currently have an assymmetrical jaw line. i plan on getting surgery in a couple weeks to fix it... im going for my first consultation on tuesday :/...im a bit nervous i hope he doesnt tell me "nothing can be done" or "you are fine the way you are, stop being so picky"

but anyway thats beside the point...what i want to know is what are females more attracted to and what is the ideal jawline for a male? i originally planned on getting a jaw implant on my right side to bring balance and symmetry and have it match my left side. my left side is very prominent and if i had a matching jaw on my right side, it would igve me a "brad pitt" type jaw line

the other option i was thinking of, is if i shave down my left side, instead of adding to my right side...but if i do this, it will give me a more narrow face and im not sure if thats good for a male.

do females like prominent/wide faces? or is it better if i shave down my bigger side? either way i want there to be symmetry! plz help! 8)

NO, statistically, a cro-magnon type "Pitt" jawline isnt the most aesthetically pleasing. Actually stats show women dig longer, narrower faces with long, triangular jawlines and square chins. (I checked lol)...this is why i guess more women like Johnny Depp types nowadays more than Brad Pitt types? I think depp looks like a chick... Anyways, Im prepping for orthognathic maxillofacial surgery , and am going to ask for a bunch of things to add vertical length to my face...When I think about it, I guess I can kind of see where long, narrow, angular features (Nordic?) are more striking and sharp/refined looking...but then older women, alot say the like "rugged manly types", maybe meaning more wide blocky jaws???

I dunno man, but youre probably better off checking into orthognathic surgery to actually correct assymmetrical bone growth rather than an implant, which will just mask it...its more permanent, uses your own bone to grow, and is surprisingly virtually pain free.

I'll keep checking in I want to see what an actual woman has to say lol. Peace.

chin and jaw implants

Postby Christopher777 » Wed May 14, 2008 11:33 am

Before you make any decision on what type of chin and jaw implant you want to get make sure that you get plenty of opinions. I would ask like 100 girls what they thought and then record how many girls prefered which type of jaw and chin. You would need to provide examples for example Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio etc. I would provide at least 4 or five different actors or models for them to choose from.

You do not want to base your decision on one person's opinion or some web study. You do not know how many people they polled, what criteria they were using, and what their sources of error were. If you don't want to go around asking girls their opinions in person you can always go on a site like hot or not their opinions there. Remember the main thing is that you poll enough people to get an accurate survey. 100 people should suffice to make a reasonable survey

Have you ever considered getting Botox injections to one side of your jaw, the more prominent side? It will paralyze the jaw muscles slimming your face down. It's a very common procedure in S.Korea where many people tend to have overly prominent jawlines.
