1st post-uneven color due to bridges in front-help!

Postby lukesmom » Thu Nov 08, 2007 7:35 pm

Hi There!

I just had a tummy tuck a month ago so I'm usually on that forum but I was wondering about something. I had a bridge put in next to my top front teeth 20 years ago (gosh, am I that old?). Anyway, now that I am 37 I am noticing that my real teeth are no longer matching the color of my bridges. One dentist told me I could replace the bridge or consider veneers and the other dentist told me just whitening my teeth may resolve the issue since the bridge teeth won't whiten but my real teeth will, which should even things out. What do you all think?

Thanks!

Sheryl

Hello Sheryl,

Welcome to the CD Forum, happy to have you!!!

I just started the process of having a bridge place yesterday, now have temp in, in 3 wks the prem will replace this temp.

How many teeth will you have to have the Veneers placed over? If it were me, I think I would go with having the bridge replaced, but that is just my thoughts....

We have a Dentist here at MMH that is just awesome with addressing our questions and concerns Dr. Kourosh Maddahi, I have pasted the link to his Q&A Forum, if you wish to post your question to him as well... He will be able to offer you excellent info to get you on the correct track as what you may be able to do.
