CheapTeeth Whitening?

Postby peach3000 » Fri May 22, 2009 5:09 am

I really like my coffee, but I don't really like what it's doing to my teeth. For a while now I've been thinking about getting my teeth whitened, but I didn't want to spend $300 to have it done at the dentist. Then I heard people say that baking soda () that you can get at the supermarket can help whiten your teeth. True?

FYI: Baking soda is abrasive, check with your dentist b/f using... ;-)

I used to use baking soda --- you can purchase TP with BS...

Have you tried the strips --- they do work well for me, however I now use a product I get from my dentist...

I heard baking soda with hydrogen peroxide will do well but I haven't tried it yet. I am using crest white strips for so long and it really works. Try it yourself.

Crest white strips are your best bet if you don't have the $ to go see the dentist with! Baking soda IS indeed abrasive, although so is toothpaste...

If the strips do not work for you I would consider going to a dentist. The price might be a little more then a mall, but you get great results and with a professional you won't have risks of bleaching your gums.

There are certain toothpaste brands that have baking soda and promise results in 14 days. Maybe you can try them.
