Cosmetic Dentistry in Costa Rica/Abroad

Hey everyone

Just joined the forum. Hope all is well with everybody!

Has anyone traveled abroad to have cosmetic dentistry done?

I am going out of the country for mine and was interested in hearing experiences.

I had my dental work done in San Juan, Costa Rica in December.
I am very pleased with the result (14 porcelain crowns on the lower gum). It cost me around $300 each crown + $1,000 travel expenses. My husband also got two implants $750 each plus $500 for grafting and teeth whitening.
They work only with American and European clients, I was really surprised with doctor's efficiency and advanced equipment. The only problem was - they aren't as punctual as US doctors, my appointments were delayed a couple of times, it was really upsetting. Well, there is nothing we can do about this, they follow their own "tiko time".
