Gap Between Teeth!

Postby futureprincessbride » Fri Dec 17, 2010 11:45 am

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forums, just registered today :)
I have a lot of cosmetic goals but one of the most important to me is fixing my teeth. I have had a huge, ugly gap between my teeth ever sonce I was 6 and it (along with my other body issues) makes me feel so self conscious that I have left school on temporary medical leave for clincial depression. I think I have potential to look very attractive and I have been told I have a cute smile with dimples but I feel that the gap detracts from it and becomes the central focus! My regular dentist said he could do invisalign for 4,000 but it would take a whole year for the end result!! Is there anythig out there that is faster? I dont want to get tooth implants because then my front teeth would look way too abnormally wide and I would have bugs bunny teeth lol. Please help, and thank you :)

P.S. Is there anyway I can get this covered by insurance or somethting? Because I'm a broke student and my credit score is horrible! But hopefully that wont stop me from reaching my dreams... I'm 21 and should be having the time of my life! But instead I'm staying in every friday night by myhyself because I feel so self conscious and I've never had a boyfriend

I would opt for the Ortodontics/braces and keep your original tooth structure/enamel intact. According to this link...spacing is correctable with Invisalign.

In some African countries. I forgot which ones--a gap between the 2 front teeth (diastoma) is considered a BEAUTY trait.

orthodontic braces are the best option for removing the gaps between teeth.
