Snap on teeth or snap on smile

Postby jlyn » Sat Jun 21, 2008 10:36 pm

Anyone heard about the snap on smile who can share any info? Sounds similar to invasilign but not meant for correction, just to enhance your smile without costly fixes like veneers and bonding. I think there is a website www.snaponsmile.com. Any reply will be appreciated. JLyn

Nope I have never heard of it, maybe you can hop over to the Doctor's Forum and ask Dr. Maddahi, he is awesome in his response, and info..

I tried that once. These snapons made me look like having a terrible overbite. When you smile it looks okay but when you close your lips everyone was asking: what does she has in her mouth?

I entered a contest for the snap on smile and much to my surprise...I WON!!! :) Yesterday was my first day of wearing them and i HATED them!!! I tried so hard to like them but they drove me insane. BUT today is a different story. I am really starting to like them and believe that soon I will LOVE them!! I admit at first they seem huge and bulky and seems like everyone is staring at them.Plus it is hard to talk. But today my pronunciation has improved, and my lips are more relaxed around them (which helps 100 % ) I even "tested" someone yesterday because I was so self concious about them. They had no idea! It was great. So if you get them EXPECT to not like them at first because they are so different to you but it absolutely will get better:)

oh no I see you asked this quite some time ago....let me tell you my take on this crapon smile. I paid quite a bit for them (definitely well over 2500) because, well, I was desperate to fix my awful smile. I NEVER wear them because they are never ever going to look real to anyone except from very very far away. They are very uncomfortable and worst of all, don't look at all real -- they look literally like huge horsey halloween teeth. it really is not possible to say anything good about this product, it is kind of a joke and I wish I hadn't felt so sad about my smile. Plus i think it probably is bad for your teeth and gums overall. So there is really nothing good to say about it. Maybe for halloween it would be good but you can find that for way cheaper. I wouldn't believe a good review of this ever, and I really hope they have gone out of business or been sued. I definitely want my money back! It is such a silly thing and I feel stupid for falling for the stupid snapon.
