Tooth Whitening Strips

Postby babyfirefly » Sat Sep 15, 2007 4:30 pm

Hey all,

I used Crest White Strips that I got off eBay - and they did work!

However, the whiteness didn't last for as long as I hoped (maybe tea and red wine didn't help) and I was wondering if anyone knows of another good brand?

I'm also interested in this too. I can't afford to have my teeth zoomed, so these whitening strips look like a great alternative. I just noticed that Dr. Maddahi is answering questions on the "Ask a Doctor" section. This would be a great question for you to ask him.

I had my teeth whitened and wished I had worked with the strips first. I like anything that stains my teeth

I too use the strips, they also have maintenance strips you can use in between (when NOT) using the 30 mins a day strips, twice daily for seven days -- the maintenance strips you only leave on I think 5 mins, and use once per day, if I recall correctly they are 14 day strips...

I have heard, but not tried it though, so it's NOT my experience, but seen others talk about using straws to drink, tea and coffee to help keep the stains off teeth -- I have no idea if there is ANY truth behind this...

Yes red wine will really stain the teeth, sorry...

I love white teeth too...

Healthy, and happy smiles to all, keep smiling ALL show those beauties,

I can do no great things, only small things with great love.

i usually stay on the rhinoplasty boards but thought I'd chime in for this one. I've used the white strips and they do work. But recently I started using Rembrandt "Whitening Plus" mouth rinse for maintenance, and it's great! I suggest using the whitening strips once every six months and then this mouth rinse plus any whitening toothpaste (the crest whitening toothpaste is good in my experience) as maintenance.
