I'm just getting back to this post and all of this is GREAT information. I've always wanted to have all my teeth the same length on the top. If I do decide to get something done it sounds like a couple of veneers would be all I need.

Thanks to all that replied!

I'm 67..have some small decay coming between 2 of my front teeth also, have old filling ..I saw 2 dentist..I explained I don't want to change my smile. One dentist wants to veneer..about 4 grand for 4 teeth..the other will bond for about $900 and it will not change the looks of my teeth..the second dentist told me to whiten to what shade i want and then call..and says he knows I'll be happy..I eat pop corn, peanuts, etc..how will eith er of these procedures affect my habit..thanks, m

Selecting veneers or bonding depends on the type of problem you are facing.
For smaller repairs, dental bonding is usually a better option because it requires less alteration of your tooth and can be completed on the same day.

If you have more extensive damage that needs to be fixed, veneers may be the right choice. Overall, veneers have a more natural look than dental bonding, especially when bonding is applied over a large area.
