I would like my hands to match my new face. My veins stick out, I inherited my grandmother's hands, and i am considering fat injections. What part of the body does it come from, cost, recovery, anything you can tell me. Thank you, Dawn.

Fat transfer to to the hands is very successful. They harvest the fat through lipsuction (tum) and then transfer it into your hands. They overfill them, as about 30% or more is what your left with. Sometimes you need to have the process repeated.I'm young but have always had very skinny hands, bony actually. I am very happy with my fat transfer to my hands although I'm still in the process. As far as cost it is on an individual basis, mine was part of other procedures so I'm not sure what the cost is if you just have this procedure alone.
hope this helps

Thank you-can you go about as usual- or are there restrictions, compressions, etc. after the procedure?

Hi,
I'm interested in this as well. I noticed my derm's office is advertising vein removal in the hands. WOuld this come before the lipo I wonder? I will talk to him about it this THursday when I have an appointment. I'm not sure exactly what they do but they advertise "hand rejuvenation". Is there a lot of bruising with fat transfer?
