Permanent eyeliner gone wrong - how to fix?

Postby Ma.le.na » Mon Jan 21, 2013 4:41 pm

Hi,

I had permanent eyeliner applied to my top lid only a few years ago. The result was uneven, and too thick near the corner of my eyes. The color has faded somewhat over about 3 years.

I would love to have it removed by laser but this seems unlikely due to the location of the tattoo. Do you think this could be corrected by a skilled permanent makeup tech? Any suggestions of who to see? (Preferably in FL but I will travel if needed).

Thanks,

Chloette

Hmmm well I have no experience in this so I can't say for sure, but I think you might be right that getting it removed would be hard because it's so close to your eyes. I'm sure a skilled makeup technician would be able to fix it for you though so keep looking! Sorry I wasn't more help :)

I think you should contact a clinic which deals with removing these king of things and ask if it is possible to get rid of it using laser. If not, correcting it with another permenent eyeliner sounds like a good idea.

If you go online there are a bunch of discussions of people who have had the same thing happen. The good thing is the consensus from others appears to be that you can get it ‘removed’ or altered to look better. While it may cost you more money to get another treatment or procedure done, it does not appear as though you are ‘stuck’ with what you do not like.

I would think that someone would be able to fix it up for you so it looked decent. I would not have it removed as that might make it worse.

if you have it remove, I think it would be complicated. Ask help from a makeup expert.
