Thank-you for sharing with me your experience with the subject at hand. I am having the brows done tomorrow. She is board certified with that permanant make-up society and is in good standing with them. She has drawn exactly what I want so we are on the same page. I will have this first then the eyeliner later. I see that thicker brows are now in but you know how the style changes. She also does the individual hair strokes. I have seen many pictures. She is very good and I feel confident with her. I will let you know how I like it---wish me luck. Thanks again.

Hi, I was just checking in. I wondered how the brows went for you? Do you like them now that they have had a chance to settle in? What did you think at first? LOL, I always look like Joan Crawford for a week. I was just thinking about you and wondering how it went. I really hope it went well for you. :o)

Your face changes as you age and it looks uneven and you spend more time putting powder and cover up on trying to correct it than if you had no eye brows at all. Two of us are getting it taken off and maybe redone at a top place. Don't do it..it does change color..or do it lightly although most of the time it comes off and has to be redone again and again. We all say..don't! And lastly most of the time the eyebrows look like they are eyebrow penciled on which is exactly what you don't want!

Jillian all you need to do is find the right person, and it will be right first time. like I said the I posted my pictures up last year , on the so fem boards. I used a lady called Heidi Worman , in my eyes she is the best as the shape she does is soooo good. I did not feel a thing. here my pic from last year Image

Becki,

I just now saw this sorry for not responding sooner. I had to go back for several touchups, and all and all I am happy with it. I will be having eyes down soon as well. I still have to have them tinted as of course the eyebrows continue to turn grey that are growing in but all and all I am happy I had it done. I DID not want to pencil them in at all, and plus if you are swimming you never have to worry about them smudging off so it is still better than pencil---much better. I think I paid to much, I found someone else who is certifited and does them for $200 less---oh well. Whats done is done---

I'm so glad you are pleased. I'm very glad I did it. I've had brows, eyeliner and lips and loved them all. The eyeliner is my favorite but I love the brows and lip liner too. It is expensive but well worth it IMO. Like you, I love that I don't have to worry about pencils smudging. Touchups are kind of a pain but better than painting everything on every day after day. I am so happy to hear that it went well for you.

I was watching Tyra the other day. I wish I could find the link, it's where they were using semi permanent makeup, and it looked great, of course it was under studio lights, BUT, it's something I would have done, and I don't commit to anything;-) It really looked great.
