Well I guess no one has tried this product so I might as well be the one.
I have a sample of everyday minerals on it's way and I will order the sheer cover today..and compare. I am a little concerned about finding the right shade (for both make-ups). Nothing worse than when someone foundation does not match the rest of their body.

If you want to try before you buy (for color), sephora stores and ulta have bare escentuals bare minerals, and their own brands to sample in their stores. For the 30 dollars, it looks like you get vry little product. But then again, a litte does go a long way! There are many sellers on ebay with various mineral makeup kits that are reasonable, too.

Let me know what you think about the Sheer Cover. I have also been thinking about buying it. It does that if you are not happy you can send it back for a full refund.

Thanks..I never did order it. I just can't seem to figure out what color I would be. I did oder the everyday minerals and I do like it but I don't think I hit the right shade. I went to Sophora but the girl was very busy and I was in a hurry, she tried a shade on me but I think it was to light...I will go back and try again. gosh....I seem to be making this very difficult..

I called and almost ordered the sheer cover makeup and them found out that they send you product automatically like every 3 months and bill you. I sometimes don't use that much so I told them to forget it.

Ac ouple of weeks later, I ran across it and Bed Bath & Beyond for $30 for the kit. 3 diff foundations, eye cover with applicator pad, 1 finish powder and the tap brush.

You really don't use alot at all. I really like it. It took me a couple of times to get it right because I used too much at first, but it was well worth the 30 to try it as opposed to getting suckered into some commitment

Wow, thanks for the info.! I almost bought this after seeing that infomercial the other night too!
I'm 51 and have only worn skin make-up for special occasions. My daughter is getting married in a few weeks and I want to look my best. Think I'll go to BBandB tomorrow!
Thanks!

Just stumbled on this topic. I have tried both products. They are both great. I have continued to use Sheer Cover because it also came with an under eye concealer that came with the product. The concealer works great with the product and does not cake up. If it does happen to settle you just smooth it over w/your finger and problem solved (hot days in Texas).

I used to have break outs and after using either product the problem was solved- no more breakouts! My skin looks great even without makeup. And I must tell you I did not use cheap products before either. Nothing prevented the adult pimples, but these products did. Now, when Aunt Flo visits I may get one. But you know that is nothing compared to the normal breakouts!

As far as ordering the products and getting on the 3 month program, if you feel that you are getting them too soon you can ask them to suspend shipment for a while and the will also suspend the payment you would owe until shipped. So really you have some control over it. I did not know this until I went to cancel and they asked me if I wanted to suspend shipment for couple of months. Worked out great.

If I had to choose I like Sheer Cover just a tiny bit more. That is just me. It seems to have just a bit better coverage. Now having said that, I still buy other products from BM which include their eyeshadows, and mineral veil with is like a translucent powder. The feather light is my favorite it really just perks up my face.

The products really do make lines smoother looking and you just look so natural. It is so easy to apply. You get the hang of it just after a couple of apps. Like someone mentioned you can put too much on. The secret is to just really go over lightly, wait to reapply if necessary because it seems to "settle" or bind to your skin looking very natural. Hope that made sense!

Since using this product I have at least 7 family/friends who I have turned onto these products which include the following age groups - from 30-66 years old. We all love them.

Good luck, hope this helps anyone out there wondering. Also, the brushes you get w/the BM are wonderful. I actually like them better than the SC brushes.
