is there a contact safe/oil free eye makeup remover?

Regular cosmetics and permanent make up

is there a contact safe/oil free eye makeup remover?

Hi, I am getting contacts on wednesday - first timer - and I used to use baby oil to get off my waterproof Lash Blast - the only thing that took it all off - without me having to RIP my lashes out - I swear... however, now I am not going to be able to use baby oil (the contacts are 30 day wear) so I will be washing off mascara while contacts are in... no oil allowed...

Do any of you use a really really good waterproof mascara remover that is completely oil free... price isn't an issue.. I'll pay good money for it if it works. Thanks

I have used Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser for quite a few years, and it does a good job on waterproof mascara without irritating my eyes. It is made to remove all makeup including eye makeup. I don't wear contacts, however here is a review from someone who does and says it is gentle.

Good news is you don't have to pay a lot for it.

Hope that helps!

Steph,

I just contacts also my first time. I have had them for a few days now. Mine are replaced every 2 weeks. I would also like the ones for 30 days. Are they CIBA or something like that? Be thankful cause putting them in and taking them out is chore for me!! In fact taking them out is much harder than putting them in. Good luck with them and your make up remover.

Hello Stephanie777,

Congrats and good luck on the contacts, I don't wear contact lenses but I know the first days are difficult as you may feel irritated. Once you start to wear your lenses regularly you'll wonder how you ever managed to do without them!

I recommend you consider the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Eye Make-up Remover - only $22:

This Eye Make-Up Remover has a unique formulation that removes cosmetics from the eye area instantly for those with very sensitive, intolerant, and easily irritated skin and eyes, including contact lens wearers.

I hope this helps!
