I don't know if a silhouette lift/feather lift is considered a surgical procedure like a face lift, but I did not know where else to post. I just had one in Tijuana by Dr Rufino Ruiz and he really screwed it up. He was also supposed to do a facial filler along with the sutures, but he did not do it. It was supposed to be included in the total price he charged me for the sutures.

Total price was $2100, and they are only charging $500 per suture in Los Angeles. He used three sutures.

I went to his office once and would not go back, I planned to inquire about fillers. The photos on his webpage look good. Later I found they are not even photos of his patients. He strikes me as dangerous. While I was in his office he did surgery on a patient that should have been done in an operating room. If you want Botox he has to send someone out for it. I have made some reckless choices but.. Fortunately being in his office frightened me. Though seeing your results is appalling it is not surprising.You may try contacting the American consulate in Mexico.
If you are lucky you may get an attorney who cares enough to contact him on your behalf..

I have had work done by Dr. Ruiz. I had a completely wonderful experience. In fact, I felt that he gave me the time to answer my questions and was quite professional. Not only that, but as an educator, I find continued education in your selected field is very important. I was encouraged to learn from another source how he not only does that but also teaches upcoming doctors at the university.

She had a combo surgery - nose job, breast implants and liposuction), My sister and I had the same surgeries done
at MT clinic the surgeon recommended her to boost the volume of her upper face by restoring contour, cheekbone definition and upper cheeks, with fat injection to diminish the look of deep smile lines without even directly injecting into them!!
I think this approach is more natural and the results are better since the cheek fat pad descends due to gravity, therefore when the dr replaces the 'fallen' area with new volume, you can see a more youthful and rejuvenated appearance. It is possible to accomplish this with our own fat after a liposuction, it’s what she did and she is very happy with the results, it’s very natural.

So sorry about your results. I did alot of research into feather lifts and fillers. I realized the only way I would have lasting results was to have a facelift with fat transfers from my own body.
Yes I did go to Cancun Mexico with a very talented surgeon Dr Velasco. I love talking about it as just turning 60 the clock has been turned back 15 years. I know he does a lot of revisions for surgery gone bad.
For $5900.00 including condo for 2 weeks, surgery, all meds, compression garment and private english speaking nurse and english speaking doctor with overnight or longer in a private hospital I took the plunge. But I spoke with a lot of women who had my surgery done with the doctor.
I had fat transfers from my eyelids put under my face orbital bone lifting my cheeks and in the nasallabial folds My face is fuller and soft and natural with no lumps or bumps. Really amazing.
So I had mid/lower facelift with neck lift and upper/lower eyes done 5 months ago. Still very amazing and will take perhaps a year for final results. Hope my story helps a little bit
