Hope this helps and good luck:)!

Hi Hartani

Please be careful and learn all the facts before you do any plastic surgery. Its very difficult to get the big picture on many of the UK plastic surgeons and going with a BAAPS surgeon has no guarantees.

Plastic Surgery should never be done on a budget because you may need a revision . Please look at all non invasive options first and do lots of research and then some more.

I can only echo what Meeka has said - I am paying the price of bad surgery done by a baaps surgeon with a 'profile' on LYB.
Try to meet people face to face if they tell you they had a good result with a particular surgeon to verify the information.

You won't find any support on UK forums when it all goes wrong.

Good luck in your research

Like the others, I can only encourage you to do all your homework first and not take recommendations from sites such as LYB. Find someone who has had a procedure that you can chat with face-to-face. I would go so far to say if you can't afford it, don't do it. Whatever, do make sure you get a properly documented and personalised letter - not a photocopied sheet, for example - setting out what the surgeon is proposing to do and what the complaints procedure is. You see I too had a very bad experience with a surgeon who is heavily featured and feted on LYB. I have been left with asymmetrical eyes with a visible lumpy scar on one. The surgeon refuses to believe anything is wrong; it is only now I am discovering that this much respected surgeon has disfigured quite a few patients ....

I am living in Australia but I used this Company called Evolutionary Visual Enhancement for my breast augmentation in Thailand. The girls are professional and helpful to answer all of my queries with paitent. The best part is that I achieve lots of savings (about half of the cost) to do it Thailand instead of Australia.

The UK is notoriously overpriced, you might want to do a search for clinics in Belgium or France

there are many plastic surgeons in the UK.......but non of them come cheap, and quite a few are not exactly great, and it is always best to have a long detailed consultation .

Hi hartanii

I live in the UK too!!! do loads of research on-line -- baaps cosmetic surgeons who are registered. Most of the work by UK surgeons is very dated - wind tunnel facelift with stictched down ear lobes.

Downside UK surgeons they all charge for consultation and the many don't post pictures on their web sites! but for so called cheapness, there is Transform (wishing you big huge luck - they use many semi-skilled surgeons and many from overseas)But you will get a free consultation.
