Email?

Postby OneBananaShort » Fri Feb 06, 2009 4:43 pm

Hi, I received two emails today that were from customerservice@makemeheal.com and had the subject "Message from the makemeheal.com president". It sounds like a legitimat email address, but I have legitimate sounding email addresses send me malicious emails before, so is this some sort of illegitimate email (like a scam) or is it just some sort of internal system problem? Thanks!

Hey OneBananaShort,

It is totally legit.

We have emailed our members as we wanted to know if they would be interested in our newsletter or in receiving coupons and special offers from Make Me Heal. You can either choose to opt-in and receive it monthly or opt-out and not receive it at all.

Our newsletter is all about latest trends in the beauty world, valuable news and information on plastic surgery, skin care, and all things anti-aging. The newsletters also let you be the first one to know about sales, discounts, and coupons of popular products.

If you think that you didn't get the right email, please forward us the email so we can look into it and get back to you asap.

Have a great week end!
Sarah

Hi Sarahl:

Thanks for replying!

The weird thing is, I signed up here in April and except for a forgotten password, this is actually the first time I have ever gotten any email from here. And I did have this typed in before, but must have accidently erased it when I edited the first post, but when I opened it, it just had a couple lines of random names, some underlined as links, like this:

email,firstname,lastname aperets@gmail.com,Ariel ,Perets ariel@makemeheal.com,Ari ,Perets ariel@makemeheal.com,Duplicate,Perets

But I didn't open the second one I received (wanted to make sure it was okay first) and this one is a normal email!

Thank you!
Nikki
