I really love the fact that if I haven't been reading a topic in a forum, my "Jump to" now contains the forum name I'm in instead of being blank! It takes less mouse wheel clicks to scroll down now.
Just to be picky.... 2 of the forum names in the "Jump to" need to be moved over to the left one character, Lip Aug and Male/Man Breast Reduction...
And a question... when I click on a picture link, can I set a control on my userid so a new tab opens so I don't have to remember to right click on the link to open a new tab?
I like the new look but am a little annoyed that when you look at someone's photo no new window opens like it used to; a lot of shuffling back and forth.
It would also be nice to be able to view posts by the original date they were posted instead of the date that someone last replied. Maybe you can do that already, but it's not crystal clear to me if that option is available.

UNovelGirl, you can right click on someone's picture link and click on Open in a New Window or Open in a New Tab (Tab might be for Vista only), but you are right, it would be nice if clicking on a link always opened in a new window or tab like it used it.

And you might be able to control those options.... in the upper left part of the screen go to:
User Control Panel ---> Board preferences ---> Edit Display Options
I didn't see an option to open up links in another window or tab.... I will keep looking.
The biggest benefit is the improved performance of the message boards as it should be much faster and not go down as it has sometimes when traffic was very high.
Is there a way for a user to change their default colors from the blues? The pale, light, baby, and power blue colors are hard on my eyes... it's also difficult to distingusish read vs. unread topics(I know the icon is red). It would be so cool to be able to pick colors and be able to bold names so they stand out when I am looking at a forum list.
What the heck did you do?????? I much prefer the old format....it was easier to read and when you went back to the previous page it hadnt expired. Btw...this has also made Dr Yangs website unusable...as all the posts he linked are no longer available. Next time just change the color! Im not a happy camper with these changes at all!
We've read your feedback and are looking into all the issues - we'll reply as soon as we have answers on this. All changes are difficult but we're certain the new format will emerge as superior to the old one. The boards are lightning fast now too.
Maybe my eyes have a hard time with the blue and white horizontal stripes... and the pink when my mouse hovers on a line... and the bolded red of the admins names....
I agree the color is VERY hard on my eyes too --- I've had some serious migraines here lately and today one started up again after viewing post here at MMH, maybe the color, hmmm --- I even had appt with my eye specialist last week and he bumped up my contacts and glasses, so lots going on with my eyes to add to the color here is a pain literally, so I am now limiting my time here at MMH due to the pain it causes my eyes, mine may be due to having an eye condition, not sure...

I agree as well. It's a really light baby blue color and it is hard on the eyes.
I think some of what ya'll did looks great, but I must agree with color. I think if you were just coming here and viewing mmh, it would look cool and stuff.
But having typing, posting, reading, and having it before your eyes often, I think that's where a different color would be better on the eyes, or go back to the old one.
I don't think that's picky on anybody's part - I think mmh would want people's honest feedback on something like this.
