Question Re: Eyebrow Movement After CoronalI'm coming to terms with the idea that recovery from a brow lift is no walk in the park, but worth it. I think I can deal with the swelling and black eyes, but how annoying is the lack of eyebrow movement resulting from facial nerve stretching? Is it as uncomfortable as being overly botoxed in the forehead or is it just sort of a nuisance? I understand the movement comes back, but how long does that usually take? Thanks!
Re: Question Re: Eyebrow Movement After CoronalOkay, I'm done (about a week out) and couldn't be happier! I ended up having a special type of endoscopic rather than a coronal and love the results. Despite all the bruising around and under my eye (and I did NOT have the eyes done, just the brow), recovery issues weren't a big deal. You just need to carve out two weeks where you're willing to hide from the public and watch your face turn various shades of black, blue, purple and yellow. I'm sort of getting used to the bruises. They bother me much less than the horizontal forehead lines and the old "sad" look I had.
If you read this and want more info, shoot me a PM. I vowed when and if I did this and if things went well I'd post the positive results because reading all the negative stuff was scary. I would have loved to just be able to use Botox, but Botox is not for everyone in terms of brow position.
