hello, i noticed all of the posts you have submitted regarding dr. shapiro. how much does he charge per graft? does he finance? and most importantly, does he do the procedure on women? i didnt see any pics. thanks in advance!

hi dr shapiro has performed hair transplants on women if you email me i will gladly dig out their contact email address so you can email them in person and i know they would gladly answer any questions you have regarding the procedures and prices etc they are very approachable and nice and would not try to push you into anything
im only an ex patient but i know they have skype etc so could talk via that if you wanted a more face to face approach

Bullit, it is obvious that the harvesting procedure is much more intense than with the strip. What would say the increase in cost would be between the 2 types of transplant? 25% - 50%.

Modern scar closure techniques leave you scar free but the staples are very painful for a week in my experience - also, I have thin hair and I don't think that existing hair would really cover up a large amount of follicles extracted. My surgeon recommended doing the strip whilst it was viable and only doing FUE when there was no loose scalp left. I think it was about thirty percent cheaper to go with the strip technique.
