14 days post laser tx #1 and have not shed a hair yet!

allright i'm confused about the shedding of hair..i've read from others who've extensivley posted their LHR process that after the treatment, your hair starts to grow back in which for most of us takes 2 days at most, but then you 'shed' almost all your hair. this shed process seems to take varying amts of time but 8-14 days seems to be the norm from the posts i've read. then, the hair re-grows usually less thickly than it was pre treatment and finer in texture.

but reading the posts on this board, I am confused as to whether all, some or none of the hair sheds? is this dependant on the type laser used?

I am doing an extensive bikini area and based on what i see, i am exactly the same pre treatment. I've read up on this pretty extensively and don't think I've gone into it with unreasonalbe expectations but still and all i don't think that you should have zero result after one treatment should you?

Hey there. This is the prob. the #1 biggest question.

Everybody is so different here in their results. Some start seeing results after 1 or 2 treatments. Others it takes longer.

Don't be disappointed not seeing results after one treatment. Easier said than done, I know.

Results varies so different for everybody here. Hormones etc.

It really just takes time. try to hang in there!

After reading a lot of these posts, I wanted to go back and read exactly what info. about this was in my contract. (I keep everything)

exact wording from original contract I signed:

"the hairs that are destroyed from your treatment will gradually work themselves out. This process can take up to 3-4 weeks. Do not pick, rub, or scratch treated areas."

I really like that wording they used.

bikini area took my longer than any other area for me to start dropping...i'd say it took 3 weeks and then they started dropping like crazy.
