Gentle LASE Laser System...is this a good one???

Postby want2feelpretty » Sat Nov 03, 2007 10:00 pm

Im going for my first treatment and the machine they use
is the Gentle LASE Laser System. Just wondering peoples opinions about this kind, ive been reading about some of the laser hair removal stories and some people didnt have good results with certain machines. Ive heard this one is good, but can you give me your opinions please.

Also, is it a REAL laser machine and not just one of those light machines??

thanks so much

This is the machine that was used on me. I completely recommend it. What I like about it is it has a cryogenic freeze spray that cools the skin before the laser hits the skin and makes the procedure comfortable. I didn't use emla or anything. I had a treatment of laser a few years back with an older machine and it was so painful, it was like a blow torch against my skin!!

I am having my first treatment today with this machine. I've had a friend that has used the Gentle LASE with good results, so I'm hoping for the same. When I went in for my consultation, I specifically asked if it was just a "light machine" like you mentioned, and they said it wasn't.

this was the machine used on my full body treatments, and I think it was pretty great. I did get the topical anaesthetic, so maybe that helped as well. The only areas that really hurt were the underarm. Even the bikini didnt hurt as much as the underarm IMO.

I have only had 2 treatments done so far, and I'm almost hairless.
