ITCHING after LHR - long lasting

ITCHING after LHR - long lasting

Postby HotPhD » Mon May 23, 2011 9:23 am

Has anyone here experienced extreme, LONG LASTING, itching after LHR?

I have had 7 sessions on my underarms and seen a significant reduction in hair growth. After my 6th session (incidentally the session after which the reduction in hair growth was most significant) my underarms began itching incessantly, particularly when I sweat. This has lasted for MONTHS now. Months!!! I thought that maybe it was a reaction to deodorant (I already use aluminum and scent free deodorants), so I stopped using deodorant but it did not improve the situation.

Any idea what's going on? Does anyone have similar experiences? This is driving me crazy!

Hey there,

This actually happened to me and it drove me nuts! It was after I had my underarms done
and I couldn't stop itching for days. It only lasted maybe about 1 week for me. But it drove me crazy!

I never had that happen before either, and have had been doing treatments on my underarms for a long time. So I am uncertain why that particular treatment that happened.

I know you are not supposed to have deodorant on when you go in for underarm treatment. I might have by accident put some on before I left for my apt. so that might have caused it!

But it did happen to me once.. ugh not fun!
