Was my treatment rushed?

Was my treatment rushed?

Postby sillymissnicole » Mon Dec 10, 2012 3:55 pm

I just went for my first laser hair removal treatment. I purchased a deal for 6 treatments of a large area and I am doing Brazilian. I researched online before going to my appointment, because I was nervous and wanted to know what to expect. For the Brazilian area, it estimated online on many sites to be between 20-30 minutes. It literally took 2-3 minutes today. Is that normal? I feel like the lady may have rushed and not done a great job.

Any opinions? Maybe sometimes it is this quick?

Thanks.

Really depends on the type of laser she used! Most of the newer ones are super quick, especially if she used a large hand-piece. The session may only take a few minutes, but the entire process (6 sessions total) will take about a year to complete, you get one every few months. During a treatment you can't really "rush" it, you just zap the area once and you're done. Especially if you're getting Brazilian she doesn't need to worry about creating a nice even "line", the whole area gets done, so i'm sure you're fine.

perhaps call them and ask them and verify with another place,.
dont let them tell you its because its the first time and we wanted to see if your skin would take it....
