I live in AZ and had CO2 full face laser resurfacing done 13 years ago when I was 50. Now at 63 I still look awesome! Do your homework and ask questions and make sure you get a PS who is board certified and performed this procedure MANY time! I did not have any scaring prior to the procedure just fine lines and that all to "tired look". The PS did a great job of explaining the procedure and gave me instructions on what I needed to do one week prior to the procedure and how to care for my face afterwards. To be honest I waited 3 weeks before applying any makeup even though I could of after 2, but I wanted to make sure I didn't clog any pours etc. It took the redness several months to go away, and there was no discomfort just a "hot face" feeling that would come and go. I did have a few tiny white heads that did go away so don't panic. Everything was back to normal for me in approx 4 months, by this I mean NOBODY could tell I had anything done, but that I just looked great! This October will be round two so wish me luck.

I had laser resurfacing done around my mouth and nasolabial area 10 days ago by a reputable surgeon in Australia but i am really worried about how long the redness will last. I look like i have a sherrif's moustache painted on.It looks terrible.I am not able to wear make up yet(and can't imagine what would work to cover it up anyway). I have to go back to work & will need to wear tape/dressing to hide it. I am regretting doing this and hope results are worthwhile! Please reassure me !! zoe
