When i try to research Dr.'s on Make me Heal, i'm not getting many Dr.'s in Louisiana that have ratings or many of them if i find one.

how do i narrow down (and how many should i go to before deciding) which to use?

I live about 4 ours from New Orleans, but have family there. I have family about 1.5 hours from Baton Rouge also. I live about 2 hours from Houston Tx (but i live in Louisiana). How far is too far (i'm thinking about post op visits and traveling in pain) to have to drive?

I have about 30 pounds left to lose (i have lost almost 40) in my weight lose journey. Should i wait until i've reached my goal to start my consults or go ahead of time? I'm sure i will reach my goal before the end of this year, and i plan to have surgery in spring of next year.

Your scheduling is really up to you. There is no good or bad time to start. The most important thing is too see many pictures of before and after of the procedures you are looking for and find someone similar starting out to get a feel of your ultimate outcome. It is nice to get a surgeon close by but not at the sacrifice of experience and results.
