my surgeon has suggested injecting doxycycline because my drainage isn't going much below 50ml after a month. can you please tell me the risks and complications associated with this procedure? will there be lumps or uneven healing? wil i have thick scar tissue?

I have never had to do that. Eventually these collections dry up if they are regularly aspirated.
