Ok so my gf got lipo of the flanks and thighs 2 months ago. She used to do yoga stretching everyday before her procedure. Now she has trouble stretching even a little bit. Anyone else experience this? How long does it typically last?
Oh yes, lipo of the flanks can lead to a long recovery (3-4 months to feel normal). And someone who does yoga is used to being super flexible and move with ease (I know, I do yoga. ) I have also had lipo, and it will definitely impact her feeling as her body is still healing. Tell her it will get better as she heals and her body adjusts. Is she doing massage? I found a daily massage with lotion helped ease the tight, sore feeling. I went from the point that if you even brushed against my flanks, I would cry to having no discomfort at all to 100% pain free, yoga, zumba, do it all with no issues. I can imagine how she feels, but tell her it WILL get better!

If they maim you, you may never heal. Liposuction is very dangerous. This is a common problem that is talked about. If you let a surgeon stick a vacuum hose into your body and suction out essential tissues, there are many, very real risks that you face. Irreversibly bad outcomes. Spread the word. Many people are losing their quality of life due to liposuction.
