how much swelling should I expect?Hey guys
I am 5'7" and 133 lbs, planning on lipoing the bottom abdomen and am wondering about how much swelling should I expect? Will it be bigger than what I was before? Do you think I will be able to wear a bikini pretty soon after? The doc is only taking out about "a small water bottle" size of fat--or 500cc's. . .any advice would help. Thanks!
Hi Etmoi!
Swelling isnt something that can really be predicted. Its on a case by case basis and really depends on your PS's methods. How soon are you looking to be in a bikini? I went on vaca about 4 months after surgery and looked pretty good, but still not 100% results (but Lord knows it was myriads better than my pre-op photos). Generally, I began to see results about 6 months after and full results one year out. The photo in my siggy is one year out, and I am currently 2.5 years post op. Just remember that PS is no quick fix so be patient. Good luck! 2 Years Post Op and LOVING It!
