Indented Dimpled or Puckered Scars?

Postby CarmenSkye » Sun Feb 03, 2008 4:24 pm

Has anyone else's lipo scars healed in an indented fashion? I absolutely LOVE my lipo results but I'm worried about the way my scars are healing. When I look in the mirror I see two very clear dimples where the scars are while everything else looks good, although still swollen. I had my lower stomach done, so I have the two entry points right above the pubic line. Has this happened to anyone else? Does it eventually go away?

I'm sorry, I'm only l8 days out but my incisions are not indented, but I would say it is the swelling around the incision sites that is making them look indented, you are still way too soon to worry about them.

I was 9 months out, and the incision points on my belly and back were awful! They were purple/red/white and very indented on my back, and raised/puffy on my belly. I went back for revisions about 2 1/2 weeks ago, and my incisions look great this time! I can hardly see them already. I think you may need to talk to your PS about possibly doing a revision on you incision points--if they bother you. I let my PS know I didn't like the way they looked prior to my lipo revisions, and like I said, now they look really good. It shouldn't be that difficult to revise them!
Good luck--keep us posted!
