I had laser lipo under my chin about a month ago and I have huge lumps still. My chin looked pretty good in the beginning now it looks almost as bad as when I first got it done. There is 1 really big lump that looks like I still have a double chin. What can I do?
I am exactly one month out from chin lipo as well and have similar issues. It doesn't look bad and I'm still beyond thrilled with it but it doesn't look as smooth as it did the first 2 weeks. I am now lumpy and ropey under the chin and my bruising which never had at first is slightly showing up on my neck. Apparently its all super normal and will go away over the next few months. Just keep massaging it and you will be fine. I'm not too worried, its just a little annoying. I also find that its more tender now - probably from the nerves coming back to life.
I would like to hear how you ladies are doing now. I hope the lumps and swelling have gone away. I am considering having this done but from what I've read so far it doesn't sound like you get very good results.
I had my double chin removed 2 years ago and the only thing I did different than my sister was massage with vit e oil. My MD told me to do this as often as I can think to do it and my results are fabulous, my sister had hers done a year before and with a different MD and he did not have her do this and she has lumps and bumps. I used my thumbs and gently massaged underneath my chin with the vit e oil about 4 times a day for about 5 min each time. It smoothed everything out nicely.....hope this helps.
I had neck lipo 2 weeks ago, and my chin is sore, and does have a thick swell that requires massaging to break down the fibrous texture and reduce the swelling, but even still, the results are amazing! I cant wait to see the final results (PS said it could take a couple months before I see the final product)... if you follow your PS instructions, drink lots of water, massage often and wear your CG, I think you will be happy with your results. Just keep massaging!!!
